When hit FPS Call of Duty launched Advanced Warfare and collaborated with Mountain Dew globally, WE! handled the Singapore edition of the campaign.
Gamers who bought Doritos chips, a food brand under the PepsiCo family, and Mountain Dew were entitled to limited time in-game rewards like Double XP and special item skins. In order to win, gamers had to collect codes – 3 from Doritos packs and 3 from Mountain Dew bottles – before keying them into a special Facebook page that WE! developed for this campaign.
Bringing the Call of Duty theme to life, WE! organised our very own Dew Strike Team, all decked up in combat gear and masks, armed with drink canisters and bottles of Dew as ammunition. The team conducted several covert LAN shop raids, storming into the premises to surprise the full house of gamers. All players were happily rewarded with bottles of Mountain Dew drinks, to fuel up on, whilst they continued battling in their respective games.
