It started off as a digital promotional project; a microsite as the main promo mechanism to verify bottle cap codes from Pepsi Man U promo bottles to give out instant win lucky draw prizes. The goal was to rewarded Pepsi fans with redeemable Man U prizes.
But later, due to unique media buy-ins, the project spun off to encompass on-ground engagement with an Augmented Reality and an instant photo print component.
With the AR portion taken care of by the media owner, WE!’s role was to provide digital support at the event venues for instant photo printing. The crowd had a ton of fun and on-ground engagement at the venue, and even snapped close to 600 photos in 10 hours over a weekend.
