Lay’s, one of the brands under the PepsiCo family, gave us the opportunity to work on a project tied closely to both the biggest football tournament and the best player in the world.
As an extension of their global campaign, which included a TVC featuring people pinching Lay’s chips from Messi, WE! created a simple and fun game that relates to the ad piece on HTML5.
In this game, Pinch & Pick, the players would have to click or tap on the Lay’s bag of chips Messi is holding when he is not looking. Highest scorers were then entered into a draw for fantastic prizes. The entire game mechanisms begins with the purchase of Lay’s chips for unique codes, which satisfies our client’s need to enhance product sales on top of creating awareness and engagement.
